Human Rights and Community Service Division

Vision

To promote a culture of human rights and social responsibility, consolidate the values of justice, dignity, citizenship, and volunteerism, and enhance the university's role in serving the community and achieving sustainable development.

Objectives

  1. To instill a culture of human rights and humanitarian values among students and staff, and to raise awareness of rights and duties.
  2. To enhance the university’s social responsibility and direct academic knowledge and expertise toward serving the community.
  3. To develop community and volunteer programs and initiatives, and to encourage student and staff participation.
  4. To build effective partnerships with community institutions to implement programs and projects with social and developmental impact.
  5. To measure the social impact of university activities and document practices and initiatives that have a sustainable effect.

Main Tasks

  1. Disseminating a culture of human rights, justice, equality, and human dignity through awareness programs and activities.
  2. Conducting seminars, workshops, and training programs related to human rights and social responsibility.
  3. Preparing and executing service and volunteer initiatives, projects, and activities that address community needs.
  4. Promoting student and staff involvement in volunteer work and community service, and cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit.
  5. Building partnerships with government and community institutions, civil society organizations, and relevant entities.
  6. Monitoring and documenting community and volunteer activities, and measuring their results and impact.
  7. Preparing reports and indicators regarding human rights and community service, and submitting recommendations to improve performance.
